Denver Wrestling Club Dues, USAW Fees, and DWC Member Benefits
At Denver Wrestling Club, our nonprofit mission is to promote community health and wellness by offering members an affordable way to learn and practice freestyle, folkstyle, and greco-roman wrestling in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment. Our adult wrestling season aligns with the USA Wrestling membership year. Club dues and fees below are effective for the season beginning September 1, 2026 and ending August 31, 2027.
Denver Wrestling Club Annual Membership Dues
$399.00 - First practice is free! USAW card required.2027 USA Wrestling Athlete Membership Card
$70.00 - includes the required U.S. Center for SafeSport online training classes and secondary medical insurance.
(Purchased from USA Wrestling)Non-Member Drop-In Fee (for one-time or occasional visits to the club by guests of DWC members and visitors) $30.00 - USAW card required. Drop-ins must be arranged in advance. Contact us to schedule your visit.
If you need assistance with paying club dues, please contact us to discuss available options, including full and partial scholarships.
A portion of all collected membership dues, drop-in fees, and donations helps support local partner youth wrestling organizations.
Denver Wrestling Club members, drop-in guests and visitors must have a 2027 USAW membership card to be on the mats - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Wrestling Requirements
Denver Wrestling Club is open to adults over the age of 18 with an interest in learning and practicing the sport of freestyle and folkstyle wrestling. This includes wrestlers of all skill levels irrespective of height, weight, race, age, sexual orientation, gender or gender identity, or physical disability.
Wrestler requirements:
Be at least 18 years old
Have purchased a 2027 USAW card and completed SafeSport training.
Commit to attending as many of our open mat and training sessions as possible
Wrestling Season and Club Meetups
For the 2026-2027 season, club meetups for wrestling practice and open mat will be held on Friday nights at Wheat Ridge High School starting September 25, 2026. A second weekly meetup will be offered on Tuesday nights at Denver South High School beginning November 17, 2026. DWC members are welcome and able to attend unlimited club meetups at both locations.
Wrestling meetups consist of group warmups, training and drilling with our coaches (full group, small group, and one and one), live wrestling, wrestling games, and plenty of open mat time.
Wrestling Gear
What do I wear? Proper attire for our weekly wrestling meetups includes:
Wrestling shoes (mandatory)
Gym shorts, sweats or leg tights, wrestling singlet, tee shirt or rash guard
Other protective gear as needed, such as kneepads, ear or mouth guards
Supporting Memberships
Denver Wrestling Club offers non-wrestling supporting memberships for those who want to support our club without getting onto the mat. If you would like to become a supporting member please contact us.
Wrestling Tournaments
Denver Wrestling Club is an amatuer adult wrestling club. Participation by DWC club members in open/adult wrestling tournaments sanctioned by USAW, WWB or any other governing body is voluntary.
